Life is too short for matching socks, especially when you can wear these fun and beautiful Solmate Socks!
Mismatched with love and made from recycled cotton fibers!
The legacy of Solmate Socks reaches back two generations to the owner's Grandmother, known by the nickname “Sunny”. Grandma Sunny taught her daughter, Marianne Wakerlin, to knit when she was nine years old and the family lived in Spain. Those foundational knitting lessons inspired Marianne's lifetime devotion to fiber arts, and eventually led to her creating Solmate Socks.
In honor of the 20th Anniversary of Solmate Socks, we decided to rejuvenate the Sunny Sock, which was one of the very first socks Marianne Wakerlin made in wool. These colors are inspired by the original Sunny Sock, this time using our signature recycled cotton yarn.
Colors in this sock: purple, pink, gold, turquoise-blue, buttercream.
All Solmate socks are machine washable and dryable. We recommend washing in cold or warm water. Socks will shrink a little in their first washing; however, they are knit on the larger size to accommodate this and do stretch out once worn again.
All Solmate Socks are proudly crafted with care in the USA from recycled fibers at a family-owned mill in Hickory, North Carolina.
